Some improved functionalities of MitID:
In the test period selected users and employees from e.g. banks and public institutions will test the transition from NemID to MitID and the usage of MitID. On the basis of the test period, adjustments to the functionalities will be made before the expected release to everyone in Denmark in October 2021.
After the test period has been successfully completed the migration period starts. The migration period is the period where both NemID and MitID will be available. Users will be able to obtain their MitID from October 2021 and use both eIDs during the whole period. The migration period is expected to run in 2021 and 2022.
