SMS verification: Added layer of security in document signing
We have introduced SMS verification as an additional security measure in Penneo Sign. This feature ensures that only the intended recipient—verified through their phone number—can access and sign documents.
Key Benefits
- Enhanced Security – Reduces the risk of unauthorized access, particularly for Simple Electronic Signatures (SES) or signing requests sent to shared email accounts.
- Global Accessibility – Works with all international phone numbers, providing a flexible solution for users without local eIDs.
- Improved Data Privacy – Strengthens GDPR compliance by ensuring only authorized individuals can access sensitive documents.
