Cybersecurity is as vital to our daily lives as digitalization itself.
As we further integrate technology into our lives, the opportunities for abuse increase. In the same way, therefore, we must develop new defences to avoid them. As devices are getting smarter, we should ask ourselves if we are keeping up with the digital progress in terms of being “smart” enough to leverage their benefits without suffering repercussions. In other words, are our cybersecurity efforts advanced enough to protect our data? “Cyber” and security can no longer be dealt with separately. As this intimate entwining builds the basis of our modern society, today’s digital way of life can only continue to work as we want if we manage to protect it from being hacked, manipulated, and stolen.
